Azerbaijan in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013
Azerbaijan participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 and selected their singer in the national final ''Milli Seçim Turu'', which was organised by the public broadcasters İTV. Farid Mammadov represented Azerbaijan with the song "Hold Me", which finished in 2nd place scoring 234 points in the grand final.
The stage production included a body double for Mammadov, who mirrored the singer's moves whilst trapped inside a transparent perspex box. The song climaxed with the addition of a female dancer, dressed in bright red, and a swirling red petal snow-storm inside the box.
